Problem – solution: the steel industry
A well-known company operating in the steel industry chose us to obtain an advanced weighing solution.
The requirement was specific: weigh wheeled vehicles transporting scrap iron to be deposited inside blast furnaces for melting.
Complicating the situation, the harsh environment and extreme operating conditions.
A customized weighing system was therefore needed, capable of:
- Withstanding heavy loads
- Adapting to complex environments
- Lasting over time
Our solution
The custom solution we created involves the production of 16 weighing platforms, with high capacity—each with capacity up to 50 tons—and high resistance.
Appreciated and tested by many companies in the industry, in this case our load cells work in groups of 4: one wheel of the vehicle is positioned on each platform.
This way the customer obtained a total of 4 different weighing points, strategically located throughout the facility.
To ensure superior reliability of the platforms, the entire maintenance is managed directly by our technicians.
This is how we gave the customer everything they were looking for: a custom solution, precise, reliable and built to last.
