A well-known company operating in the steel production field came to us at Coop Bilanciai to find a weighing solution on rails.
Specifically, the client’s need was to find a system capable of weighing – in motion – ferrous waste to be used for dosing steel production.
Beyond movement, the client was looking for a solution capable of withstanding intensive use and scrap falling from above.
Our solution
The custom solution we provided includes a weighing platform operating on a rail, over which the cart carrying the ferrous materials passes.
The capacity is approximately 100 t: a significant capacity, custom-designed to overcome wear and ensure maximum resistance, even under extreme operating conditions.
