For us at Coop Bilanciai, solidarity means a commitment to improving the world together.
That is why we are proud to support three organizations and projects in our local area, such as…
The Museum of Weighing Scales
With over 70 years of experience in the weighing field, we at Coop Bilanciai couldn’t help but be among the leading supporters of the Museum of Weighing Scales in Campogalliano.
Inaugurated in 1989, the Museum of Weighing Scales is the first museum in the world dedicated entirely to scales and weighing systems.
A unique place that is—at the same time—a guardian of ancient knowledge from the past, a spokesperson for current developments in the weighing sector, and a pioneer of future innovations.
This is why, for over 27 years, the Museum of Weighing Scales has held the Weight of Ideas competition, a contest for schools throughout Italy which—this year—focused on the theme: Young YouTubers for Culture.
A precious opportunity to promote cultural heritage and give new generations the chance to create useful content to showcase their local area.
The Body Percussion project
The second initiative we support is the Body Percussion course organized by the Social Cooperative Giro del cielo.
A course for elementary school children in Campogalliano (MO) that focuses on expressive movement and musical rhythm.
Based on the pedagogical guidelines of the Orff-Schulwerk method, the goal of the course is to provide children with a new way to interact with and and experience their own bodies, gaining greater awareness and developing unique expressive skills.
The barbecue for Romagna
Our commitment to the local area also includes our support for the flood-affected areas of Romagna.
Local shopkeepers in Campogalliano—in collaboration with local volunteer associations—organized a barbecue with proceeds donated to Romagna.
At Coop Bilanciai, we wanted to support this important initiative and we will continue to support the well-being and growth of our local area in the future.
Because, together, we can make a difference.
