1949 FOUNDATION
A group of expert scale makers sets up a small artisan company that will be the nucleus in which Soc. Coop. Bilanciai will originate.
1963 TRANSFORMATION INTO A COOPERATIVE
The company transforms into a cooperative and builds new and modern headquarters from where it starts its industrial activity.
1968 THE FIRST ELECTRONIC LABORATORY
First technological development: Soc. Coop. Bilanciai establishes an electronic laboratory where it designs and manufactures the first electronic weighing terminals.
1982 NEW HEADQUARTERS
The development of the company requires the construction of a new production unit at Campogalliano expanding the surface area of the production and office buildings to 20000 m2.
1989 SIT 44 METROLOGY LABORATORY
Construction of the Metrology Laboratory: Soc. Coop. Bilanciai receives the SIT 44 Centre recognition from the Calibration Service in Italy.
1991 FIRST PRODUCTION OF LOAD CELLS
Second technological development: standard production of load cells begins homologated with the Eurocell marking.
1993 INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESS
The Soc. Coop. Bilanciai internationalization process commences through acquisition of corporate shares in companies in Europe and North Africa.
1994 QUALITY CERTIFICATION
The company obtains certification for operating with a quality assurance system in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001.
1996 PRODUCTION PROCESS ROBOTIZATION
Robotization of the production lines is started.
1997 SELF-CERTIFICATION
Recognition of the Quality System for the legal metrological aspects with the power to “self-certify” its weighing systems.
1999 FOUNDING OF THE BILANCIAI GROUP
The "Bilanciai Group" is founded. This is the trade name that will accompany all the companies in the group in Italy and the rest of the world.
2001 THE DIGITAL ERA
Soc. Coop. Bilanciai places a new generation of cells and terminals on the market which will radically bring the weighing sector into the digital era.
2002 GROUP CONSOLIDATION
The acquisition of the German group PFISTER WAAGEN represents a new important goal in the corporate internationalization policy.
2003 WE GO OVERSEAS
We start a joint venture with the American company B-TEK in Ohio, an important reality in the weighing market, with manufacturing plants in Canton - Ohio and in Rockford - Illinois.
2005 NEW PRODUCTIVE UNIT FOR CIGIEMME WEIGHT-PRICING
Cigiemme wheigh-pricing productive lines integration to Coop Bilanciai production process completed, by means of trasferring all units in Campogalliano seat.
2007 REARRANGING THE PRODUCTION LINE
Thanks to “lean” organization, CB improves the effectiveness and efficacy of the production process.
2008 CB CHANGING ITS ORGANIZATION
The steady growth of the market pushes CB into changing its organization. The company resources give birth to the new business units.
2009 DIADE
CB keeps on investing in new technologies: DIADE indicators are launched
2011 BILANCIAI CINA
BILANCIAI CHINA was born, a manufacturing plant near Shanghai that will take care to provide the Eastern market.
